Oita Prefecture’s Ancient shrines and temples, famous temples and hot springs

Beppu Onsen (Beppu City) has the highest number of hot springs and the largest amount of hot springs in Oita prefecture.

It is counted as one of the eight scenic spots in Japan because of its rarity, and attracts a large number of tourists every year.
