There are three World Heritage Sites in Nara Prefecture.

“Kasugayama Primeval Forest” is designated as a special natural monument in Nara Prefecture.
Kasugayama was regarded as the “mountain of God” and was the object of worship.

A ban on felling was issued in the 9th century, and despite being in the suburbs of the city, the primeval forest remains.
Its specificity is highly evaluated.

“Heijogu Toin Garden” and “Heijokyo Sakyo Sanjo Nibomiya Ruins Garden” are designated as special scenic spots in the country.
