In Kagawa Prefecture, there is a special natural monument, “Hoshoin no Shinpaku”.

The Shinpaku is said to be over 1500 years old.
It is located in Hoshoin, one of the 88 sacred sites on Shodoshima.

The site of Sanuki Kokubunji is a temple built by Emperor Shomu in the Nara period. It has been maintained as a ruins park and part of the building has been restored.

The Zengata sand painting in Kotohiki Park is “Kanei Tsuho” drawn with sand from Ariakehama.

Kagawa Prefecture’s Ancient shrines and temples, famous temples and hot springs

Chichibugahama and Ariakehama are beaches where you can enjoy a superb view.

Both have beautiful sunsets, and Chichibugahama is famous for its water surface that looks like a mirror.
